Back to the Point...

  Andrew and Nicholas
(I love how these cute kids take care of each other)
Thanksgiving Point is awesome!  I know you have heard me say that over and over but there are so many different things to do there.  In my past posts I wrote about the Garden's and the Noah's ark, this time we went to the Animal Park.  The children can wander around and look at all sorts of farm animals.  They have several kinds of horses (Syd's favorite) as well as cows, geese, turkeys, goats, sheep, chicks, donkeys as well as pony rides and carriage rides.
Nicholas on his first pony ride.  He loved it, in fact he SCREAMED when he had to get off.

 Hello Chandler and Chayce!

"OH No, they finally got them!"  Yup, they all had to go to jail!
Nicholas didn't think the jail was very much fun!

Sydney, Tyler and Chad waiting "patiently" for the horse drawn carriage ride.
Is this a look of disappointment or what???
Syd had just learned that they had to put the horse away because he was so tired and instead of a horse drawn carriage ride the carriage would be pulled by a tractor.
(kind of breaks your heart doesn't it!)

 The "tractor" carriage ride
The boys enjoying the "Tractor" ride (Max couldn't be more thrilled to be right behind a real live tractor!!!)
The sign says "Please do not feed your fingers to the Horses" but Tyler and Kalli wanted it to read "Please Do feed your fingers to the Horses" Funny, funny kids!!!
Mom just happy to be out of the house with her family!

This goat sure took a liking to Sydney.  Besides the obvious "Farm Smell" it was another lovely evening at the Point!!!  We even ended with .50 cent ice cream cones again.  Happy FHE!

We've got spirit yes we do...

"We've got spirit yes we do...
We've got spirit how 'bout you?"
This past weekend was out football pride weekend.  PG High School had their 100 Year Homecoming celebration that the girls went to and got all decked out.  Raegan and Kalli are the best of friends.  Love these girls!!! and We love our Vikings!!

On Saturday it was BYU's first home game of the season.  We love BYU at our house especially BYU Football.  We all wear blue and the kids like to have Y's painted on their faces for the day too. (the younger kids were not home for this picture) Crazy I know but we love our Cougars!!!
Raegan and our two cute little cougars.

Chad and I in front of LaVell Edwards Stadium.  We have had season tickets to the games now for 13 years!

Love the scenery!! Those mountains are breath taking
year after year!!
Chad was very excited after the Cougars scored their first touchdown...Unfortunately this was the only happy face I saw all night.  The Utes dominated BYU and killed them.
But the weather was beautiful and I always enjoy people watching.

Preschool Bound!!!

Today is Max's first day of Preschool!!!!
Yay for Preschool!! He has been waiting all summer for this day.  He is such a cute kid, a little ornery and so
ready for some structure.
We love Ms. Jilane and we are so happy he gets to go three days a week.

Max adores his daddy! (aren't they both so handsome!) And daddy we lucky enough to drive Max to his very first day.
Mom in her pajamas as Max gives her a kiss good bye!
Love you buddy!!!

Labor Day at the Point

Whenever we try to think of something fun to do we know we can always head over to Thanksgiving Point.  For Labor Day we went to the Childrens Garden.  The kids had so much fun playing in the Noah's Ark.  Raegan and Kalli weren't with us, they were with friends doing other things...we sure missed them!
 Andrew, Sydney and Max
 Sydney
(I don't think standing on the animals is what they had in mind for the kids)

Nicholas ran every where, he thought he was so big.  It was funny because every time he would run his cheeks would bounce.
Andrew and Tyler soaking in the water

If you notice the sign behind Max it says "Bronze Animals are allowed to climb on Noah's Ark and garden rocks.  Children are not"  Oops, we didn't see the sign until the end.

 Chandler

 Chayce

They have a fun maze for the kids.  They loved running though and getting lost...Nicholas was always the first to find the way out.
Andrew thought the maze was the BEST!

 Grandma and Tara

The kids were feeding the fish and looking at the giant lily pads.

 Nicholas LOVES his Daddy!

 Max

They also have this fun little river the kids can float boats down and have boat races.

And of course we have to finish with an ice cream cone.

Family Fun...Fun Times
LIFE IS GOOD!
