15 Wonderful Years

15 Years ago on April 29th, 1997 Chad and
I jumped into a fantastic life.
Full of so many ups and downs, laughter and tears, blessings
and so many kids!!!

I swore that I would never drive one of these.
Ha ha, never say never!!!

I never knew that having so many crazy kids could make my life so happy and so full filled.  So grateful to share this life with Chad.  What a wonderful, crazy, dream filled life it has been.
I am so blessed. We are so blessed.
Happy 15th Anniversary

Our little Max went into surgery for a hernia repair.  He was a trooper.  The surgery was scheduled for 11:30 which meant no food or drink after midnight the night before.  Well the hospital was running late and he didn't get into surgery until 2:00!  That is a long time for a little guy to go without eating or drinking.  He was awesome.  Never once complained.  He did react pretty crazy to the medicine they gave him before they put him "out".  He was searching everywhere for an "invisible mouse".

After the hour long surgery he was tired.  We couldn't get him to wake up.  He only woke up to take a couple sips of Apple juice and then went right back to sleep.
What a sweet little guy!

The next day Max was supposed to "rest".  We were told that he would possibly be down for about a week. Well telling Max to rest is a pretty funny quest.  He is super active and has TONS of energy!  This is how we found him the next morning.  What a trooper.  No pain meds needed for this guy.

Easter FUN!!!

Easter 2012

This picture was taken just minutes before we headed off to Church.  And oh what a meeting it was.  The babies and Nicholas were very naughty, I must have got up and down out of my seat at least 6 times.  But with a smile on my face because it was Easter Sunday after all.
(way too many chocolate eggs before church for all of us!)

On Saturday we dyed Easter Eggs for the very first time EVER!  Not sure how we didn't get out of it this year but it wasn't too bad.  The kids loved it!

On Easter Sunday after church we headed over to Grandma's house for a lovely Easter dinner and then the Easter Egg hunt.

The big kids got to have a hunt all of their own.  They hunt for bags of chips.  Ha ha it's pretty funny, they love it and since they are a little "too cool" for an egg hunt this works out perfectly!
