The Children's Museum

This week is spring break for us. The weather is not cooperating much for doing things out doors so we are having to find things to do inside. Today we took the kids to the Children's museum in Salt Lake.
It is a ton of fun, especially for the little kiddos but I think the older ones enjoyed it too.

We could not get Max away from the "Big Helicopter". He thought it was so cool and was so excited! If fact we had to pull him out of it after about 30 minutes, kicking and screaming.

Easter Weekend

I love weekends full of family get togethers. Over Easter weekend we were lucky enough to have Chad's cousin and her cute family come and visit from Wisconsin. We got to take care of her three little kids while she and her husband and older two kiddos enjoyed conference on Temple Square. Then we ended the evening with food, laughing, stories and good times.

On Sunday we enjoyed watching conference at my mom's house. We made the kids cute coloring packets to help keep them settled down and entertained. Plus they enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt in between conference sessions.

Whats Been Goin On...

APRIL FOOLS
First of all I am not happy with the weather!!! We have had cold weather for so long. Seriously, snow on April 1st?? Mother Nature's cruel April Fools joke to me. I have been needing the sun so desperately this year. I guess I really am an Arizona girl.

Oh I despise potty training. You would think by kid #6 it would get easier. Nope! Max just doesn't get it. I think I may have to give it up until summer comes.

CRAZY HAIR DAY
Well three out of my 5 elementary school kids weren't "too cool" for Crazy Hair Day. Tyler informed me that he is "too good looking to make his hair crazy" OH BROTHER! and Raegan is in 6th grade and I guess 6th graders just don't do crazy hair. Oh What a Beautiful Day!

Oh What A Beautiful Day!! Today it felt like spring. Andrew his buddy Parker, Max, Nicholas and I went to the park. Chad was even able to meet us there for lunch. The sun was shining, there was not a stitch of snow on the ground...It was Lovely!!

My birthday was last week so a group of my friends had a fun little birthday lunch for me. I think it is nice that we have birthdays so we can have excuses to get together and visit, laugh and EAT! The weather was beautiful so the kids played outside while the Ladies visited inside.

Today is my birthday and I was lucky enough to have Nicholas blessed by his dad today at church. What a sweet blessing it was.

Crazy Fun in Utah

Hey everyone I am working on a new project, in my spare time ha ha! I am creating a blog all about the fabulous things there are to do in Utah. We are now a family of 9 and would have loved to have a resource on fun and inexpensive things to do in Utah with a bunch of kids in tow as well as opinions and suggestions to go along with it. So I am creating that. I will review parks, activities, events and whatever else I so desire to give people an insight on what to do while living here or visiting here. I will post when there are specials or coupons for places and in the mean time get to take my kids to many different places just to review them. I think it will be a lot of work but a lot of fun too. So please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions on places we should visit. And you can bet there will be lots of pictures of the things we do and where we do them. Tyler turned 9 years old!

Tyler is our sports nut! He loves anything that has to do with a ball. He got a tennis racket, tennis balls and a new basket ball.

Then we took a few of his buddies from school to play Lazer Tag and then out to a pizza buffet.

Hula Hula Happy Birthday!

Tonight my friend Heather and I threw an AWESOME surprise birthday party for our girls turning 12. Andra and Raegan. We had a Luau themed party in my friend Sue's basement.

Raegan and Andra were so cute and so gracious! They are so excited to start young women's together, they were also baptized together when they were 8.
