Happy First Birthday Nicholas!

Nicholas just finished a handful of Spaghetti. His favorite!

My baby is 1! Nicholas turned one years old and we were able to go to a really fun place called Incredible Pizza Company. (We were going to go anyway so we figured we would go on his birthday and celebrate)

Tyler with Andrew, Chad and my sister Stacey in the back ground.

They have an all you can eat buffet, the kids enjoyed every bit of it!

It also has a huge arcade with tons to do for all ages.

Later that night we went over to grandma's to celebrate with Birthday cake. Nicholas didn't love it too much. Not sure if he was just tired or experiencing a little of the flu that we had all had previously during the week.

All of the kids love their baby brother. He is such a sweet heart who loves to smile all of the time. He is always so pleasant. He can stand up all by himself but won't take a step and still has very little hair on his head!
He says mommy, daddy, Ra Ra (Raegan), Kalli, and Mamamama (grandma) oh and Night Night. We love you sweet Nicholas!!!

(sign of a clear conscience according to my dad)

Christmas Morning before the kids woke up

Max was waiting so patiently. We told the kids we couldn't start unwrapping until Grandma Sharon got there. (about 6:45am)

Tyler got Nicholas out of bed about half way through the unwrapping

Kalli was thrilled with the Scriptures and Scripture bag

(that was her #1 request for Christmas besides her sleep mask)

Raegan

Andrew was thrilled with everything!!!

Jolly St. Nicholas!

Then after a nap for mom we headed over to Shelly's (Cassie's cousin) for Christmas dinner.

Tis The Season

The Sunday before Christmas.
I think these kids are so dang cute!!!

Tis the Season for Children's Christmas Programs. Andrew got to sing carols with all of the first graders. I love this program, it never changes and the kids are so excited.

Andrew was so happy to be able to sit by this cute girl who he kind of has a crush on right now. Gotta love the ginormous bow ties!!!

Max had his cute little program at his preschool.

Miss Jilane asking Max... "What do you want for Christmas?"

Max is quite bossy. He is always making sure kids are in their place doing what they should be doing.

Max was SO excited for Santa to come.

Lil Hoopster

Tyler has recently joined a competitive basketball team. It is so much fun to go and watch him play, he is learning so much and works so hard and is pretty good. Tyler is a kid who is happiest whenever he has a ball in his hands, he has been this way since he was a baby. Doesn't matter what the sport is, weather it be soccer, baseball, football or basketball he is quite an athlete. It will be fun to see what sport he chooses as he gets older and has to narrow it down.

All I want for Christmas...

Guess What Andrew is singing this year...
"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!!!"

Carriage Rides, Hot Cocoa and Crazy Kids

Tonight we had a WONDERFUL time! We spent the evening down in the Riverwoods shopping area in Provo. On Friday, Saturday and Monday nights in December they have FREE carriage rides, Hot Cider and Cookies as well as a beautiful display of Christmas lights. It was a beautiful night, not too cold!

Fun time on the Horse Drawn Carriage Ride. Max said that this was the "Funnest Night Ever!"

We brought Grandma along too.

The kids could just run around, it was a perfect night for them. They were all so well behaved. They really have fun together. I love these crazy kids!!!

Raegan was a big help holding Nicholas so I could be the photographer.

After we were done with the Carriage ride we got some Hot Chocolate and Chocolate chip cookies.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Getting so sleepy...

We ended the night with a drive past my kids favorite Christmas light house. They love to go and see the Patterson's home all lit up to the sounds of Christmas music. We probably go by this house at least once a week during the Christmas season.
We definitely have to remember the Riverwoods Carriage Ride for next Christmas.
Hope your Christmas is Merry and Bright!
