Spring Swimming

Max was loving this, he had a ton of fun!

We took the kids to the Lehi Swimming Pool today. We had a blast! Well Nicholas didn't think it was so much fun at first. This was his first time ever going swimming.

Hippos and Hamburgers

Spring Break day 2 we went to the
Bean Museum at BYU.

Sydney could not believe that an Elephant is really THAT big.

GRRRR!
The kids were all growling like the
bears in the back ground.

After the museum we took the kids to In N Out Burger for lunch. With as big as a family as we have we don't take the kids out to eat very often. So this was a big treat.
After the museum and lunch, Chad played a little soccer in the front yard with Max and Nicholas.
Chad is coaching both Max and Andrew's soccer teams this year. I know like we need ONE more thing to do right now, but when no one is willing to coach and the boys need a coach, Chad volunteers. Looks like I will be a "soccer mom" for the next few weeks. The boys love having their dad coach.

Pizza and the Park

Syd the Kid

This week is spring break for my kids and since our plans of going down to AZ had to change we are doing fun things around here every day. On Monday we did Pizza and the Park with our friends the Hatchs!

Cute little Teagan Hatch

Syd and Alaina

It was still a little Chilly but we took advantage of any sun that would come out. We have been so anxious to get outside and play!

Nicholas was loving being outside. He especially loved wearing shoes. This was his first time wearing shoes because his feet have been to fat to fit in any.

The girls just hanging out and chatting.

Chandler
These two little guys just stayed in their car seats because it was still a little to chilly for them.

Max

The boys played a little football too.

After the park we "treated" everyone to a free drink at Hearts Gas Station, since on the 11th of every month it's "free drink day".

Just getting out wears these two little guys out.
What a great day!

Awesome FHE

We had the best Family Home Evening last night! We were invited (yes all of us) to go over to our wonderful friends home, the Plowthows. In their basement they have a room dedicated to his trains that he has built himself. As well as a an old fashioned soda fountain.
We had so much fun and the kids were awesome, so well behaved!

Marcia and Richard Plowthow

The kids loved seeing how the trains worked. It was quite detailed and Bro. Plowthow was kind enough to allow each kid run the trains, toot the horns and then told them all about building them and the details that were involved. It was awesome.
Max especially loved it, he loves trains!

After the lesson and the train play they treated all of us to their soda fountain. They made a few different ones for all of us to try before we decided which one we wanted. It was so much fun, they had us try a cherry soda and a lemon soda. Then they sampled a chocolate soda and a chocolate malt. Most of the kids decided on the chocolate malt, we also had banana splits and sundaes. Talk about going home on a sugar high!!! But totally worth it.

So cute! Max was in HEAVEN sharing this Chocolate Malt with his dad!

Thank you Plowthows for an awesome FHE!!!
