Syd's Special Day

Today Syd the Kid got baptized. What a special day it was, the spirit was strong and we truly felt like Grandpa was there in spirit as well.
Syd is such a beautiful girl!. She has the craziest, loudest laugh. She brightens any room she enters. We love our Syd!!!

Horsing Around

Sydney celebrated her 8th birthday. She loves horses! I mean she really loves horses. So for her party we went out to some dear friends of ours, the Richardson Family and rode horses. Sydney got to bring 5 friends.

Tyler got to come too, what would a party be without an annoying older brother to torment the girls??

Alaina, Abby, Sydney, Taylor, Sydney and Baily with their lucky horseshoes they got to take home with them.
Happy Birthday Syd the Kid!

They Say It's Your Birthday...

Kalli celebrated her 11th birthday! She got everything she wanted including her own packs of Beef Jerky. She is such a funny kid with a super unique personality, Kalli lights up the room and keeps everyone laughing. We love our Kalli!
We did her party in Grandma's backyard. The girls played games and then watched an out door movie, Back To The Future with concessions of popcorn, licorice, suckers, laughy taffy, candy bars and soda.

Max sure loved having all of those pretty girls around.
Happy Birthday Kalli!

Rollin Down the River

Today we met up with my sister Stacey and her boys in Spanish Fork. We took a small hike to the river there and the kids had fun!!!
This little guy was a trooper. It was pretty hot and he had to just hang out on our laps.
Syd the Kid found this rock and staked it as her own!
Kalli, Sydney, Tyler, Andrew and cousin Dylan

We didn't want to get any sun on this white, bald headed baby.
Max was tired but hung in there.
I love summer time!!!

Ready, Set, Swim!!!

Andrew and Sydney took Swim Lessons at the beginning of the summer. They did great! I loved the program they were with. They both moved up a level, Andrew to level 3 and Sydney to level 4.
They even had Sydney learning to do the butterfly stroke by the end of her lessons. I love that my kids are little fish and love to swim.
Treats for the Fish!

Girls Camp

Our ward had girls camp up at the Heber Valley Camp, it was so beautiful!!
Keslee, Ashlyn, Raegan and Sam
This was Raegan's first year for camp. And because Chad is the Bishop we were lucky enough to go up for Bishopric night. It was so fun seeing our sweet little Raegan in a different light!

The theme was "Daughter's of a King."
At our girls camp we have men do all of the cooking. Brother Ellis and Brother Tippets were the chefs for the week! The food was amazing...Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp, Curry, Eggs Benedict were some of the meals the girls feasted on.
Chad had to be part of a skit that included this lovely princess wig.

Happy Memorial Day

This was the first Memorial Day that I have had a grave to visit. Raegan and I went to see my dad's grave this evening. Why does it never get any easier? I miss my dad daily, he was such an example for good in my life.

Since moving to Pleasant Grove, my dad always wanted to hike to the G on the mountain. He never got to. So before he passed away Raegan made a promise to him that as soon as she could she would hike the G for him and bring back a rock. On Saturday she did just that. (you can see the G on the mountain above his grave)

Here is the rock and the message she put on it before she placed it on his memorial.

Fun Run

On Your Mark...Get Set...GO!!!
Now for the end of the year "Fun Run"!
Andrew was so excited to run. He has been watching his brother and sisters run in it for the past few years. Now it was his turn.

Sydney ran hard too, she got a cramp half way through it that slowed her down a little bit but she still did awesome!
This little guy just enjoyed being out! Nicholas has a smile that lights up his entire face!

Tyler ran to have fun! He did great!

Kalli ran her little heart out! I was so proud of her. I gave the kids the choice after fourth grade if they wanted to run it or not, she choose to. Two full laps around the track...Way to Go!
McKenna and Kalli enjoying a water break after the run.

Raegan decided 10 seconds before the 6th grade race started to run it. She had no intentions on running it. I am so happy she did, she did great! She had a smile on her face the entire race.

Tyler and his 3rd grade buddies!

Way to go Kerby Kids you guys did awesome. We are so proud of you!!!
