Our last Hurrah!

We ended this summer with a fantastic trip to Park City.  We stayed in a condo at the Westgate and loved every minute of it! (Well maybe not the part where Nicholas was sick, Chandler got pink eye and Chad wasn't will us all week due to traveling with work).

We had a hot tub on our balcony that the kids LOVED!!  But unfortunately I was a little too paranoid to allow the babies any where near it when it was open.  Chayce wasn't too happy with my decision.

Me and the older kids had fun in the Hot Tub while the babies slept.  We told stupid jokes and laughed!  Great memories.

We played tons of card games.  Each kid from Max on up learned how to play "Speed"
(Grandma LaRue would be so proud)
I bought a ton of naughty food that I don't buy on a normal day.  But we were on vacation and that means we eat like garbage!!!
Poor Nicholas was sick pretty much the entire time, high fevers, mouth sores, etc.  But he still went swimming every morning with us.  He was so funny!  He would not take off these funny glasses the entire time.  He would even shower with them.  He also refused to let anyone carry him from the pool to the condo, so he would walk (at a snails pace) with his towel wrapped around him.
(He is such an old man in a two year old's body!)
He is so stinking cute!!!

Just outside our condo there were these ski lifts.  The kids would ride them over and over.

Kalli and Tyler entered into the condo's "Iron Chef" competition.  The secret ingredient...Bananas!  Kalli made deep fried Bananas and WON!  She won a $20 gift certificate.  Tyler came in second with his Brownies and Cashew coated bananas.

We swam every morning.  Chayce and Chandler LOVED the pool.  Chayce would bounce up and down and then kick his legs up and sit on the bottom of the pool, holding his breath and blowing out through his nose.  I've never seen a kid this young do this.  He loved it!!!

We went to the Alpine slide.  Loved it!
A "must do" in Park City!!

This condo had tons of activities for the kids.  They got their face painted every day, colored pictures and made crafts.  They also loved the arcade.
We were so sad that dad couldn't be there with up except on the last day.  He had to travel for work that week.  We loved having him there the little bit he was there.  I had a fantastic time bonding with my cute kiddos!!!
Happy End of Summer!

Sydney turns 10

We celebrated Syd the Kid's birthday a little later this year with a party at Classic Skating.
Her friends that came were Alaina, Sydney, Ce Ce and Abby.
 Yummy chocolate cupcakes!!!

Happy Birthday Syd the Kid!!
We Love You!

Another Fabulous Fourth!

We started some new traditions this year.  Instead of going to the Provo parade (bringing three babies didn't sound really fun this year) so we did a breakfast in our front yard.  We served french toast, bacon, fruit and four different kinds of syrups. (Berry, coconut, buttermilk and regular).  We had the Kerby's over, the Derricks and Grandma.  It was a nice new tradition that I think may stick.
(Much cooler and less work than going to the parade)

Later in the evening we headed to our traditional BBQ at grandma's house.

It's so fun to be able to see PG's firework display from Grandma's front yard.
And it's always fun to hang out with cousins!!!

Heres too another Exhausting, Fun, Fabulous Fourth!

Lovin London

We went to London!!
Chad needed to take a trip to the UK for work and I got the opportunity to travel with him.  We had such a great time.  But to be honest, it wouldn't of mattered where we went I was just so thrilled to have him without his cell phone.  It was such a great couple trip.
Chad in front of the "London Eye"

This is where Princess Diana was married to Prince Charles

Chad represented BYU well over in the UK

The first day we arrived in London at 7:00AM and went hard all day.  My eyes in this picture shows how tired I am.  We had been up for 30+ hours.
 Buckingham Palace

I think I made the guard a little nervous
We also visited Notting Hill and went to Portabello Market
Chad is checking out some guy's fancy car (Bently) worth about $500,000
 Tower of London

We went to Hyde park.  It was beautiful, we actually got lost in it and didn't mind a bit.

After our two days in London we headed to Reading, England where Chad's conference was.  One of the days while there a sweet member of our church got a hold of me and offered to drive me through the country side.  It was beautiful and she was so kind.
I LOVE old churches and old graveyards.  I could read the head stones for hours.  We found this old church in a tiny village.  It was beautful.

I made a new friend, I friend for life.  This is Yazmin.  She is beautiful and so sweet.  We connected immediately at the conference and talked babies and religion.  Her and her husband became instant friends with Chad and I.  I hope they can take a trip to the US soon.
On our way home we had a layover in Boston.  I love Boston.  Chad has never been to Boston so because of our 5 hour layover we took a cab ride into down town where we ate yummy Italian food and then enjoyed delicious pastrys from Mike's Pastry's.

We had a fantastic, fun and fast trip.  So appreciated all the help we got with the kids (Jonni, Roberts, Halladays, Grandma, etc.)  It was perfect.
