Today I bought a new cereal. I don't usually buy marshmellow type cereals or high sugar cereals but today I saw the "Hot Wheels" cereal and I couldn't pass it up. I knew that Andrew would like them I did not realize he would LOVE them. He was so excited for this cereal he couldn't stop hugging the box and when it was time to put it away it had to go in a "very safe" place. After he had his cereal he said to me "mom, I love you!" It was worth every cavity!!!

I have an 8 year old that feels the same way about Lucky Charms...I completely understand the LOVE of a sugary cereal!!
That is so darling. It is funny the things that make our kids so happy. I will do that every once and again just for that reaction!!!
who knew something sooo little would mean sooo much!! i don't like those kinds of cereal either, but every once and awhile i will suprise my kids and they think that is the BEST thing ever, what we do as moms :)
oh ya i was going to tell you that bro mask (i mean elder mask) spoke in our ward today (jeff is in our ward, so funny he has changed so much from high school, him and scott are ht companions and work in scouts together) but anyway, when i was listening to him, it just brought back such good memories from jr. high, i miss those days sometimes! i miss getting to see my friends everyday, but i am glad we get to k/i/t over this thing..love ya!
Don't you love the little things that make them so happy. If you want to be "Mom Of The Year" next time Chad is out of town, take the kids to the grocery store and let them pick out their own cereal and let them eat it of dinner. It is a winner every time!!
