Yesterday my dear, sweet 96 year old grandma passed away. Ruby Ann LaRue. I am so grateful for the legacy she has left. She was my last living grandparent, so this is somewhat bittersweet. I can only image the reunion she has had on the other side. My grandpa went for a walk about 17 years ago and never returned. We have never know what happened to grandpa. Now grandma knows!!! I am so grateful that I was able to visit with her so recently. In fact I was able to spend the afternoon with her the day before she passed. What a comforting feeling knowing that she is in a much better place. I am grateful for the knowledge I have of our Heavenly Father's Plan. The funeral will be down in AZ this next week. Chad and I and the kids are planning on traveling to AZ for the funeral and for the memorial they will be doing for my grandpa as well. I am grateful for the life grandma lived and that my kids were able to have a love and relationship with her too.

I LOVE this picture of her. Did you send it to Mari?
I am sorry to hear about her passing but the fact she lived that long is awesome. And your right I can only imagine the reunion that goes on. Losing my mom makes it even hit home more when someone dies. Lots of love.
Cassie- let me know if there is anything that you need. Losing my grandma only a year and a half ago, I know exactly how you feel. It is a bitter-sweet reaction. Missing them but feeling so grateful for their legacy. Sad that they won't be around but so excited for the place they are now. Good luck with everything and let me know if there is anything I can do. LOVE YOU!

O MY STARS! I am so sorry, Stephanie just told me and I'm so sorry some how I totally missed this post. Now the 17 year question will be answered and your grandma will finally have the answers she has wanted to know so badly all these years. I can not even imagine what she has endured... You are in my thoughts and prayers.
