We took the kids up to the hospital to see Grandpa tonight. Sydney and Andrew were determined to wear their Halloween costumes. Max was so excited to see "Bumpah" he wouldn't hardly leave him alone. My dad looks good. Since the surgery he has had 4 extra units of blood. We are still waiting to see where to next. We think he will be going from the hospital to a rehab facility possibly on Tuesday and then hopefully be home this weekend. Then on Friday he begins his radiation treatment on his hip. We are down one step in a long process.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!!!

Al Boy looks good. We are so happy to see his smiling face.
Cassie: I had to check your blog because I have heard how famous you have become! You have had so many amazing things happen lately, both good and bad. I hope to see you all on TV sometime soon! Please give your parents our best and we sure hope everything goes well for your Dad. He looks pretty darn good for just having major surgery. By the way, your family is so darn cute. And Congrats on having a bishop for a husband. We have been there twice, and trust me you do receive alot of blessings.
Too cute! It is killing me not being there with Mom and Dad. Max is a monkey but a cute one. Fun pictures!
Well, he looks really good. I am glad you are keeping this updated. It is good to hear about him.
Your dad looks great. We will keep you guys in our prayers.
So sweet that they got to cuddle with Grandpa at the hospital. Max really does love his Bumpa! :)

oh your sweet dad...he still looks exactly the same to me..still praying for them that ALL goes well!!
I'm sure your dad loved every second of your cutie kids there with him! What fun pictures and costumes - they seem to fit their personalities perfect!
Wow your dad is so thin. I hope he is feeling well. I bet he loved having your kids come and see him. You can tell they are close.
If you are going somewhere local here, might I suggest you look at Berkshire. That is where I sent many of mine. It's a short-term rehab for those eventually going home and not into a long-term facility. They are in Orem.
Your dad looks great. What a kind hardworking man he is. Maybe this is his odd little way of FINALLY getthing the spotlight after all of the years in the background to a you amazing girls. Cassie, I'm so pround of you. Those amazing children of yours and your amazing helpfulness and support to your husband and parents. Keep it up. Tell your dad Sticky says "Hi".
HI Cassie,
It was fun looking around your blog. Your kids are beautiful....and your husband does sound wonderful. I am very sorry to hear about your dad's illness. I hope he is getting the best medical care possible...along with all the great family support!

Cassie- I don't know if you even remember me, but this is Emily Brooksby who lived on 6th Avenue back in the day. I remember playing with you a lot (with Sherri Bond) and going to Campbell's Dance Studio with you (at least I think that was right). Anyway, I am David Cutchen's cousin, and I always see you make comments on their blog, so I decided to check out your blog too! I promise I am not just getting back in touch because you are going to be famous, but that is really cool! I will for sure watch that one! I am also hoping that things go well for your Dad, and am sorry to hear about that. Where in Utah do you live? I am up here too (in Layton). Anyway, don't go private with the blog, 'cause then I won't be able to blog stalk you! No, I am kidding, of course! You must be an amazing mom to have 6 kids - and your family is adorable!
