"Interview me"

I got this fun idea from my dear friend Kayola's blog.

Here are the directions:

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. (I get to pick the
questions and I need your email).
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview
someone else in the same post.
5. When others friends asked to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
Now, all you have to do is just wait for your questions....

Now here are Kayola's questions for me

1. If you could go anywhere in the world
on vacation where would you go?

I would go on the 10 day Disney Cruise with all of my kids, my husband and my parents. While on the Castaway Cay I would Scuba Dive. This has been a life long dream of mine and someday it will happen!!!

2. As a child what was your very favorite memory?
Your favorite toy as a child?
I remember watching Star Search really believing that someday I was going to be on it and win (singing or dancing, it didn't matter which one)! I remember standing on a box in my wonder woman swim suit and singing Whitney Houston's song "I believe the children are our future" at the top of my lungs thinking I was really good and just knowing someday I would be discovered. (funny how I am tone deaf and can't carry a tune to save my life)

My favorite toy was probably my Cabbage Patch Kid with red hair, her name was Nettie.
My mom had one of her friends make special clothes for her because they were much cheaper than buying Cabbage Patch Clothes. If you ask me, they were way better too!

3. What CD are you listening to in your car at the moment?
Who is your favorite artist?
I don't have a CD in my car at the moment but I have been listening a lot to the Mary Poppins Broadway Soundtrack (we saw it in NY and LOVED it) I have also been listening to Brian Stokes Mitchell. He performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at their Christmas concert. He is a Tony award winning artist and is amazing and so much fun to listen to. Chad got that CD in his stocking this year for Christmas.

4. What makes you want to shout?
For joy, for attention or when you are just exasperated.
I want to shout for joy when I am with my family, my kids are all happy and getting along and I have something to look forward to, whether it be a vacation coming up, a night out or something else that I can make memories with. I am a memory maker. I like to go and do and take my camera along with me.

5. What is your favorite food to eat?
To prepare?

Well if you know me very well at all, I am a baker. I like to bake cookies, cakes, brownies, breads and I love to try new recipes. But I have one requirement...It must have Chocolate in it. Now the foods that I enjoy eating the most are foods that are prepared for me. I love to go out to dinner especially at Carrabbas. My favorite...Pollo Rosa Maria with no mushrooms! YUMMMM!

You are awesome. I loved star search and I sang that same song by Whitney Houston...we are kindred spirits. :) Do you remember the little dancing group "America's Apple pie"? There were a bunch of kids and they were amazing dancers!

Cute post. I am soooo with you on the baked goodies, they are truly my weakness. I hope you kept your cabbage patch kid. I still have mine with the tongue sticking out and my daughter plays with it. Fun times I love thinking of my favorite things and memories.
