The Happy Children of GuatemalaOk many of you know that Chad and I will be heading to Guatemala in April. We are getting way excited for this. On this trip we will be helping out the villagers in the Chimaxyat village. One of the projects we will be doing is building ecological compost latrines (toilets) for 33 of the families there. This in turn will help with cleanliness and sanitation. Chad and I have set a goal to raise $1,000.00 for this cause. We are also looking for donations of school and art supplies for the school there. (Contact me directly if you are interested in donating supplies) There is such a need for so much and I am so excited to be apart of this.

That sounds really awesome. I didn't know you guys were taking this trip, did I miss it somewhere? How did you get hooked up with this opportunity? What a great experience for you guys. And what great examples you are for your family and for all of us reading about it! You'll have to make sure and journal your experiences to share on your blog! :)
you make me sooooo proud....seriously everyone needs a pot to poop in...that will be an awesome adventure....be sure you take lots and lots of pic's...I hope you raise and collect everything you need. ♣GOOD♣LUCK♣
