Fun in the Sun!

WOW!  This post has only taken me two weeks to post.  Blogger has been acting up and I have a TON of picture from our great trip to AZ for Thanksgiving.  We had a fantastic time visiting with family and friends and enjoying some much needed family time together.
(For some reason Blogger posted these pictures in reverse order so our last day is first and our first is last)

One of my favorite memories of growing up in AZ is visiting the Mesa Temple Christmas lights during the holiday season.  This year it was crazy trying to take our family there, it was super crowded and we had a ton of cousins with us. But it was still awesome and a great memory!

I am lucky enough to have one of my best friends, Staci be my sister in law too!  I hate that we don't get to see each other as much as I would like to but it's fun when we do finally get together.

My kids have so many cousins in Arizona it always fun to visit and also a challenge trying to get "Cousin Time" with everyone.

The Friday of Thanksgiving break we had a family reunion for my mom's side of the family.  The weather was beautiful and it was fun reconnecting with my cousins that I don't see often.

My sister Stacey and Cousin Shelly

 Chad and my cousin Melanie.
Chad and Melanie were good friends in high school before Chad and I ever met.

Now onto Thanksgiving Day!
We were lucky enough to have TWO Thanksgiving dinners.  One at Chad's mom's house and the other at my sister's house.  My kids were in heaven with all of these cousins.  It was a wonderful day!

First pictures are from Grandma Kerby's home

Aunt Stephanie enjoying Chayce

There are so many boy cousins in AZ.  Tyler was loving all of the football playin.

SO MUCH FOOD!

We wanted to get some family pictures while we were there.  I wish I would have cooridinated clothes for my kids better but otherwise I am thrilled I got some pics of everyone looking into the camera.

 You gotta love having daughters!

Chad's brother is a General Manager for Red Robin.  It's always a treat for my kids to go and see Uncle Daren.

It was all so good...Thanks Uncle Daren!

One night Shelly, Chad and I took a group of kids ice blocking.  The kids had a blast!

Look at the size of that train!

Chad and Shellie

Look at this group!  It's a nonstop party when we go to AZ.

On Monday night for Family Home Evening we went over to our friends house.  We had a great time with Jason and Maren and their kids.  It's so fun to get together with them, Maren and I have been friends since we were toddlers and our kids are the same ages.

Love these boys!!!

We love the Checketts!!

One of the days we went to Freestone Park and met up with Staci and her kids and Stephanie (long time friend) and her kids.  We sure wish the Hatchs hadn't moved away from us in Utah, we miss them like crazy!!!

Stephanie, Me and Staci with Zane

We had beautiful weather the whole time we were there and had so much fun, every day.  We enjoyed going out to dinner and lunch so many times. (AZ has the best resteraunts)  What a blessing to have so many family and friends in one place.

Oh my goodness, you guys had the time of your lives with so many friends and family and food! That's crazy that Chad was friends with your cousin Melanie before you guys knew each other, too! And sweet that you got hooked up with Red Robin...I love that joint. :) You are looking so amazing, by the way. 9 kids and you are crazy tiny and you don't look like you've aged a day since I knew you at Ricks. I just love seeing pics of your cute family. I love your big family photo at the top of your blog! Glad you had a great Thanksgiving and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
