Disneyland

Chad works for a great company. Earlier in the year (2012) his team set a goal and the reward if they acheived that goal was for the families to get to go to Disneyland all expense paid. They reached their goal.
We got to stay at the Grand California hotel and do Disneyland for 3 days...SWEET!

We ran into some friend while we were there.  The McBees from our Ward and the DuPaixs. That was way fun for my kids to ride some of the rides with their buddies!
One of my dreams as a kid was to experience a character breakfast.  I finally got to experience and see the magic of it through the eyes of my kids.  They LOVED it!!! I suggest everyone do this at least once, it's expensive but worth it!
(The characters were "sweet" on grandma)

Poor Max fell asleep during dinner all three nights.  He never did get to eat dinner the entire time we were there.  He must have a clear conscience! (that's what grandpa would have said)
Cars Land was AWESOME!! So fun and so worth the wait.
The last night we were there a friend of Chad's met up with us and insisted on taking our family out to dinner.  We went to the ESPN Zone.  It was awesome.  My kids were in heaven.  All in all a fantastic trip.  So grateful for Infusionsoft and them providing this awesome vacation for our family!!

Twinners X 2

Happy Happy 2nd Birthday to Chayce and Chandler!!  So grateful these two little monkeys joined our family and constantly keep us on our toes.  Sure love you guys!!

Max turns 6

Happy Happy 6th Birthday to Max!!
We sure love this kid and his
funny, quarky ways.

ALOHA

January 1st I got the opportunity to go to HAWAII!! YES HAWAII!!  Chad had traveled a lot the past year and so we had miles saved up. So when my friend Lisa asked me if I wasnted to got to Hawaii with her to drop off her daughter at BYU I had Chad's full support and I went.  We did it so cheap, it was awesome. What was even better was getting to connect with a best friend of mine from highschool, who I hadn't seen in 15 years!!!  Talena heard that we were looking for one more person to join our trip and she contacted me and WAHLA!!  Hawaii for a week. Me, Lisa, Laura and Talena set off for our all girl adventure.
 Laura, Me, Lisa

 Talena, Me, Lisa

We stopped by the Dole plantation and Talena and I shared a "Dole Whip", YUM!
We went to Waimaia Falls.  It was raining and believe it or not it was pretty cold.  Lisa and I were the only Brave ones to swim to the Waterfall.  It was awesome!!!

Did I mention that it rained?  It rained and rained and rained!!  It probably rained 90% of our trip.  But who cares we were in HAWAII!!

We stopped at a favorite Shave Ice place called Matsumotos. It was YUMMY!!

We went on a fantastic Hike that over looked the ocean.  It was awesome, so fun and felt great to get some exercise.  Since winter has come to Utah, the exercise has kind of been non existant.

We met a fabulous lady named Auntie Fia. Who got us into the PCC for cheap as well as helped Lisa's daughter Callie feel a little more comfortable with BYU.
We tried so many times to make it to the beach.  As soon as we would set up our stuff the rain would come. But who cares we were in HAWAII!

Monday night we went to a BYUH Basketball game.  We had a blast cheering them on.  (We didn't stand out or anything, 4 white women amongst all of the Ethnic young students).
Then it was time to say our goodbye's to Callie.  She was nervous, scared and anxious.  We decorated her room for her before we left.

Talena and I were lucky enough to get to sit by each other on the plane ride home.  It was so fun catching up on the last 15 years.  So grateful for a good husband who made this all possible and took care of things at home while I was away.

December 2012

December was a busy month like usual.  But one of my favorite months.  Busy with all the crazy things that fill our calenders, the holiday prep and the Christmas festivities.
Sydney and Tyler were in their Elementary school choir and performed Christmas carols at the mall, the school and the grocery store.  After one of the performances I took the three little boys to lunch after at Wingers.
We tried our best to get family Christmas pics.

One of the crazy highlights was going to Temple Square to see the lights.  We also enjoyed going to City Creek.

But by far, one of the BIGGEST highlights of the month was the Sunday before Christmas.  We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with Stacey and Kirk and their boys.  Shortly after dinner we were surprised by a giant knock on the door.  IT WAS SANTA!!  We were all shocked, like really shocked!  Santa gave each person a gift as well as discussed how "good" they have been all year.  It truly was magical.  Come to find out Santa knew where we were because he was a friend of Kirks (wink).  The entire evening was one we will never forget.
Chayce and Chandler were real thrilled with the entire night.  They didn't even want to share their gift of cars from Santa Clause.
Chad and I got a special gift.  A framed painted picture of the Timpanogos Temple.  A treasure for sure.  We were both touched not only by the gift but by the entire evening.

Christmas day was a good one.  The kids were all thrilled.  Lets just say it definitely was an "Electronic" Christmas this year.

We enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner at Grandma's with Kirk's fajitas, Jeff and Sherri's Guacamole and Salsa and Tortillas from Cafe Rio.

The end of December means Nicholas Birthday.  He turned 3 years old and celebrated by going to McDonalds with his best buddie Traverse.
The last few day we got dumped on with snow.  Nicholas enjoyed shoveling with his "Nicholas sized" shovel.

Catching up...November

Our November started off with an AWESOME first snowfall.
The boys loved getting out in it.

 Nicholas and Max
Max was all about shoveling the snow

We then headed down to AZ for Thanksgiving.  We stayed a week at Stacy and Brad's house.  It was so fun and they are so kind to let our big family intrude for that long.  The kids got along great.
Sunday night, Stacey invited all of Chad's family over for dessert.  It was tons of  fun and tons of people.  The grandkids always have a blast when they are together.

Max and Drew, very serious angry birds.

Monday night was Chad's grandma's (Grandma Julia Kerby) 90th birthday party.
All of Chad's siblings except for Scott and Todd were there.

Back at Stacy's house the boys had a blast with this fun car track.  It was a lifesaver!!  Entertained them for hours.  Too bad that it is so old that it's impossible to find anywhere.

Stacy and Brad have every ride on toy you could imagine and an awesome back yard to ride in.  My kids were in heaven!

One of the nights we had a BBQ out at Usery Pass.

 Kalli, Hannah and Raegan

Thanksgiving day was a typical Arizona in November day... Gorgeous!! The kids had fun playing in Grandma's backyard and of course the FEAST, YUM!

Our last day we enjoyed swimming in Lance and Alma's pool.  The kids had a great week.  It's always a non stop party when we head down to AZ!!
Chandler was done.  Ready to head back home.  But no without getting the stomach flu that night.  What a way to end but grateful it all happens.  And grateful for everyone who allowed us to crash their homes, especially the Borens!
