Pleasant Grove...Feeling the Effects of Global Warming

Our neighbors house, the view from our front walk way. That retaining wall is about 7 feet tall.
This is our car, keep in mind that Chad drove it just an hour before this picture was taken.

Today our Stake President cancelled church for our entire stake. The snow just keeps on coming. It has been snowing every other day since before Christmas. (Though yesterday for President Hinckley's funeral it was an absolutely beautiful, sunny day) Church in this area hasn't been cancelled for 20 years. So needless to say we are having church at home (kind of). We are making all of the kids give a talk, much to their grumbleing and complaining. The hardest thing about not going to church is that it is fast sunday and being in a houseful of kids who think they need to eat because they are awake is a challenge in itself.

Holy cow! I think the wind blew all of our snow from last night away! I mean we have plenty to go around but I didn't realize how much it was snowing in other places!! Anyone else ready for the spring???

That's amazing! It would be hard on Fast Sunday to be home all day. Sounds like you did a great job though and had some fun with it!

Absolutley beautiful...in the picture!!! I'll be honest I hate the snow, except for when I'm sitting inside, by a fire with a blanket sipping hot cocao!!! I would not be able to function in it...well i guess if I had to I can do anything, right?? I absolutely LOVE Utah homes. If you live in AZ and you look at nothing but stucco, Utah homes are so cute!

What a beautiful view! And yes Saturday looked like a beautiful day for the funeral service, how special was that? I love the snow and miss the times I grew up in it. I didn't like so much having to drive in it though. Wow, sweetie, two more days for your mom and dad, how exciting is that???? I can hardly wait for the last two days for Dallas to come home. Build me a snowman please! STAY WARM!!!
