Sydney and Cutie Pie Kerby

Sydney enjoying her ice cream with Cutie Pie

"Are we there yet? Are we getting closer? How do you know how to get there? Are we there yet, huh, huh, huh?" Sydney got to go to Build a Bear Workshop yesterday for her "mom date". We take our kids on individual dates with either Mom or Dad. (This time grandma got to come too) It was Sydney's turn and she had only one thing in mind...Build a Bear. The other kids usually choose lunch and a movie or shopping or whatever but not Sydney she was determined to find her new buddy who has been WAITING for her to come and get her. Meet CUTIE PIE KERBY. Yes we now have a stuffed dog to add to our troops. She absolutely loves Cutie Pie! Then we topped off our date with ice cream at Coldstone. It was complete! One very successful date!

That is so sweet, I love that you take them on individual dates. I can't wait to do that when mine get older.

Mom, can I come? I LOVE COLDSTONE!!!! What a great time, I think that is a really good idea, I wished I had done that with my children, WOW, I wish I could go backwards sometimes. What a fun name you have for your little bear...

I love the date idea. We try to do something like that, but we are never consistant and unfortunately the kids remember. We usually have to make it up to them with a big family trip somewhere like Amazing Jakes!!! I hope that's not a fat free ice cream???

Hey Brother Kerby!

I dont know if you would remember me. You were my sem teacher at MT. View. You were my favorite ever. My class had a bbq at your house one time. You also wrote something in my year book that meant a lot to me. (ill have to dig it out) anyways.. you may know my little brother Colton Wininger from pg.

Hope to talk to you soon.
