Well school starts on Monday and that means the end of summer. At times it has gone by fast but then other times it seemed like it would never end. We really didn't go anywhere as in a summer vacation but we did some fun things. Having Andrea's kids up here for the whole month of July helped alot. It was also fun to have Shellie's and Staci's kids as well as Tara. My kids have had lemonade stands, Birthday Parties, clubs, water parties, out door movie nights and even a beauty shop that they advertised and people came and paid for their services (toe nails painted, makeup and hair) We have had slip n slides, trips to the pool, EFY, day trips to Salt Lake, Dance workshops, Thanksgiving point, movies and tons and tons of friends. (I could do without the video games, but I pick my battles) We've gone through bottles of sunscreen and lots of otter pops. We have hiked to waterfalls and hiked to caves. We have seen lots of fireworks as well as set off lots of fireworks. Whew that sounds exhausting!
I do love having my kids at home as long as they are happy and not whining at me. (I am sure that I am not alone in my thoughts here) I will probably cry the first day of school. I do every year. So heres to another great summer!!!

I did cry one the first day of school, but it is so nice to have a quiet clean house again. Looks like you made the most of your summer. Enjoy next week.
Isn't this blogging so cool so that all of your memories are now documented and will help you to never forget all the sweet times spent with the ones we love...your kiddo's are too cute!
I can hardly believe it myself. I am usually a pretty scheduled person, but having this summer to just go and go has made me a bit more laid back.
I guess I'm a bad parent. I party on the first day of school. A quiet, clean house for more than 5 minutes. However, I don't miss the homework battles.
What a bunch of fun summer pictures, I can't believe it's over already. This summmer has gone by very quickly.
I love how your husband went and stood in line for that book, that is the cutest. My husband suprised me with book #2 & then #3, which I still have to finish. Hopefully I will get it done and then can finally start on the last one.
And my memory of you is being a great friend to my sister and always being so kind to her little sister. Of course your cheer and pom days and of course California, when Stephanie made me go on every ride with Randy cuz she didn't really want to. Poor guy. haha
It sounds to me like you had the best kind of summer there is. Your kids will have so many good memories of just being home and having fun. You are lucky to live where it colls of a bit in the evenings.
WOW! Reading about your summer exhausts me. But it sounds like it was a very full and wonderful summer. Your kids will always remember it.
How fun for your family! That is why you live in Utah now right??? Have fun this winter! (Hee Hee)
Thanks for the comment about my b-day.
I thought I made a comment on that post you did about your daughter's temper tantrum and you documented what she said in the car. I was laughing out loud and showed it to my mom. We both got a real big kick over it. But I do check your blog every now and again. I'll have to start making comments on it.
